About this seminar: The automotive industry is undergoing a once in a lifetime transition. This change is driven by the acronym, C.A.S.E. - Connectivity, Autonomous, Sharing/Subscription and Electrification.


CASE will force automotive companies to transition from a product centric company to a more customer centric company. In this presentation, you will get an inside look at how Toyota Motor Europe (TME) is transforming into a mobility company and how the Microsoft cloud platforms are helping Toyota Motor Europe (TME) in becoming a more customer centric company.


At the same time we will get an inside look at Toyota’s company culture and Toyota's unique approach to Lean management which shape such a strategic initiative.


About the speaker: Joris Poelmans has over 20 years of experience in the IT industry. He has worked for various customers in different industries but with a focus on the Microsoft platform. Since November 2016 he is working for Toyota Motor Europe as a lead architect on the Pan-European CRM platform. He is an active contributor to the Microsoft technology community and regular speaker at Microsoft conferences and user groups, you can follow him on X or read his blog.
