About the seminar:

With Startpunt Ondernemen, we focus on entrepreneurship in an accessible way. After all, we believe that all students should become more entrepreneurial. On 25 March, in cooperation with UNIZO, we are organising a keynote by Jeroen Baert on AI.

You may know Jeroen Baert as a computer scientist, or from his work on TV or radio, or from the popular podcast Nerdland.

What can you expect from the keynote?

Description: What is Artificial Intelligence ? What is generative AI? How do neural networks, ChatGPT and Dall-E work? What are the strengths, weaknesses and limits of these tools? How will AI impact our society and the way we work and gather information? What does the future of AI look like? How can I use AI usefully now, as an individual and a company?

You will find answers to these questions in this lecture, which takes a humorous and critical look at the current hype surrounding AI.

Duration: 60-70m

Afterwards, we will also provide a panel discussion with student entrepreneurs. We will conclude with some snacks and a moment to exchange experiences in the Mediaforum on Campus De Ham.
